The ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has posed numerous challenges for hospitals across the country.  A particularly difficult challenge for many medical professionals stems from a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE).  In an effort to combat this problem, nonprofit organization, Operation Smile donated thousands of gloves and masks to Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia.

As a result of Operation Smile’s donation, the hospital received 1,800 N95 face masks and 4,500 gloves.  The medical professionals of the Virginian hospital are incredibly thankful for this generous donation.  Operation Smile looks forward to continuing their efforts in supporting and assisting medical professionals across the United States.
